So what was my first task? Helping my sad entertainment center look a little more...classy?...I don't know if that's the right word, but oh well! Here is a lovely picture of what it looked like before...
Don't mind all the junk on top of it. That is not what I was worried about. That can be cleaned up very easily! I was more worried about my large array of dvd's and tv shows that you can see in the cupboards! When I have guests over, I don't necessarily want them to know that Eric and I are obsessed with Family Guy and Lost right off the bat...So I turned to one of my favorite products in the world!
Frosted Window Film!!! You can get in from a hardware store for about $20. I live in a town home and my bathroom window happens to look right into my next door neighbors house, so this was a definite must for me to get! Looks good in my bathroom, and it also looks really good on this entertainment center! It gives my dvd collection a little more mystery, don't ya think?
